MTG Secrets of Strixhaven Pre-Release - Friday 7pm

School's out at the Secrets of Strixhaven prerelease!
Pre-release is your first chance to play Magic the Gathering: Secrets of Strixhaven. By entering in our sealed events, each player will receive a pre-release kit containing 6 Secrets of Strixhaven play boosters and the included promo foil card to make your sealed deck PLUS you'll get another Secrets of Strixhaven booster just for participating!
DATES: Friday 17th to Sunday 19th April 2026
Format: Sealed - MTG 3-round Swiss
Price: $55 (includes your pre-release kit* which includes 6 Secrets of Strixhaven play boosters + 1 bonus play booster for participating)*
Prizes: Players that go 2-1 or 3-0 will win extra prizes.
Due to limited pre-release packs, please pre-register for your games to avoid disappointment. Please ensure you are there at least ten minutes before the event starts to avoid any hassle.

A Wizards of the Coast account is required to play in the event. Please make sure to have one prepared, or to come in at least half an hour before the event to set one up
*Prerelease kits are limited to the tickets shown on the flights on Hobbymaster.co.nz. However, if a Saturday or Sunday event is showing as sold out online, you can still participate by buying in person at the store before the event begins. Particpants who buy in this manner will instead receive 6 boosters in place of a kit.
Players will receive a bonus 7th booster for participation at the end of round 1. Players who do not play this round will not receive a participation pack.
Players who purchase a ticket but do not attend will receive 6 play booster packs to be picked up at a later day OR can ask for a refund. Refunds are given as per our refund policy.
