Hobby Master is proud to introduce a new card to the world of Magic: The Gathering – Raving Visionary!
Store staff member and resident Modern player, Angus, reckons Raving Visionary will support multiple archetype strategies for limited formats of Magic: The Gathering slotting into the Blue-Red Delirium archetype best and enabling the Blue-Black Discard archetype. It also splashes well into the Black-Red Madness theme and as a White-Black Reanimator enabler, making it a strong card to synergise with the various black effects of the limited environment.
A solid early pack pick in draft format to enable easy pivoting into multiple archetypes. Looting is always good in limited to dig you to your bombs and answers, but in a set like Modern Horizons II with heavy themes of reanimation and madness, it's all the better.
The gorgeous artwork featured on the card is by Eric Deschamps, a sci-fi/fantasy and children’s book illustrator. If that name seems familiar you will know him from his many Magic The Gathering pieces. His work has a particular focus on character art and he often paints planeswalkers including fan favourites Liliana, Ajani, Chandra, Nahiri amongst many others.
