ADEPTUS MECHANICUS: ARCHAEOPTER STRATORAPTOR / TRANSVECTOR / FUSILAVE

Key Features A swift aerial transport craft Can instead be assembled as an Archaeopter Fusilave or Archaeopter Stratoraptor A Flyer choice for the Adeptus Mechanicus A workhorse not only of the toxic Martian skies, but of distant worlds at the forefront of the Tech-Priests' expansion for millennia, the Archaeopter is an agile fixed-wing aircraft. Piloted by a member of the Pteraxii caste, whose legs and scapuli superior are hardwired into its controls, the nano-carbon fibre-weave of the Archaeopter's wings is capable of morphing – a property it shares with the Pteraxii flight packs. This affords great manoeuvrability and enables it to operate within changing pressures as it undertakes explorator duties as well as delivering teams of lethal operatives behind enemy lines or into the heart of battle. In addition to being able to transport up to 6 Secutarii, Electro-Priest, Tech-Priest or Skitarii models, the Archaeopter Transvector is armed with two cognis heavy stubbers and a twin cognis heavy stubber with which it can lay down covering fire. The Archaeopter Transvector can also be upgraded with chaff launchers to thwart incoming enemy fire. The combination of speed, freedom of the skies and transport capacity makes an Archaeopter Transvector a great choice for grabbing distant objectives with disembarking Skitarii. This kit can alternatively be used to build an Archaeopter Fusilave or Archaeopter Stratoraptor instead, meaning that regardless of which unit you assemble, you'll end up with plenty of spare components for customising your collection. This kit is supplied in 94 plastic components and is supplied with a Citadel 170mm x 109mm Oval Base and a Citadel 115mm Ball Stem with Tang Adapter.

KHARADRON OVERLORDS - SKYRIGGERS: SKYWARDENS / ENDRINRIGGERS

Skywardens are elite members of the Arkanaut crews, a form of aerial cavalry that can scramble to aid the fleets. They use potent, heat-generating vulcaniser pistols to fell foes before lowering their skypikes and charging in to finish them off. Each Skywarden is equipped with skymines for harrying flying foes, and a timed explosive. These charges are the perfect weapon to aid the Skywardens’ hit-and-run attacks, for their delayed detonations cause chaos among the foe, allowing the duardin to jet away in a blast of aether-exhaust. This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble 3 Skywardens. They feature skymines trailing from their dirigibles, which are detailed with the pipework and equipment needed to make their aether-gold vapour-fuelled flight possible, and carry vulcaniser pistols and skypikes. One Skywarden can carry an aethermatic volley gun, and one can carry a skyhook, drill cannon or grapnel launcher. There’s a custom head option for the Skywarden Custodian, and there are plenty of extra details for making your Skywardens unique: a spare vulcaniser pistol and a variety of maintenance tools. This kit comes as 88 components, and is supplied with 3 Citadel 32mm Round bases and 3 flying stems of differing heights: 30mm, 32.5mm and 35mm. It can optionally be used to assemble 3 Endrinriggers.
