THE STORY
When aelven treasure hunter Shev Arclis finds herself imprisoned at the pleasure of the Order of Azyr, she expects to spend the rest of her days rotting in a dungeon. What she does not expect is for a mysterious witch-hunter to offer her the deal of a lifetime. Help him recover an item of extraordinary power hidden at the heart of the Latchkey Isle, the infamous afterlife for thieves, and in return, freedom will be hers. Alongside an elderly, mostly deaf and certainly deranged Ironweld Enginesmith and the spirit of a flamboyant long-dead thief, Shev must navigate the ever-shifting maze of the Thieves’ Paradise. But in a land where the tricks are truths and truths are tricks, this band of misfits may yet join the dead they seek to steal from.
