Malifaux 3rd edition is the newest version of Malifaux by Wyrd Miniatures, it has been developed to streamline the rules and enhance player enjoyability. Here are a few of the newest improvements.
Hiring
Models are now hired based on their Keyword, which encourages more thematic Crews while allowing for abilities that more closely tie models together. Ever wanted to run two (or more) Masters together on the tabletop? Now you can!
Conditions & Tokens
The number of Conditions in M2E has been reduced down to 11 single Conditions. As well, several Masters and Crews that once relied on conditions to function now use Tokens that serve as counters for their various abilities, whether they be deadly plagues or a crippling addiction to the raw essence of the Hungering Darkness.
New Masters
Nekima has reclaimed her birthright! Standing alongside her is Euripides, a prophetic giant who has followed the omens from his frozen mountain home into the lowlands. The Guild has responded by promoting the brutal Captain Dashel, elevating him to the position of Master... and providing him further assistance in the form of Cornelius Basse. Smashing aside scores of enemy soldiers and brutalising their monsters with The Dread Mace is akin to child's play, while his legendary shield Tuskbreaker (so named for chipping the tooth of Gorkamorka) renders enemy magic a mere harmless breeze. Despite this, perhaps his most terrifying trait is his berserk charge, which can carry enough force to kill even a fully grown dragon in a single deadly blow.
The kit is comprised of 74 plastic components, with which you can assemble one Kragnos, the End of Empires. Multiple options are given for assembly, including three different faces and two poses for his neck and head (one looking left, while the other looks right). This model is supplied with a Citadel 130mm Round Base.

LEGIONS IMPERIALIS: MALCADOR INFERNUS AND VALDOR TANK DESTROYERS
The Malcador Infernus and Valdor Tank Hunter are both variants of the ubiquitous Malcador tank, using its resilient and mobile chassis to carry specialised heavy weaponry. The raw power of the Malcador Infernus is almost inescapable for its foes, as it shoots terrifying jets of all-consuming flame for extended periods. Conversely, the Valdor Tank Hunter focuses on hardened targets, living up to its name by unleashing its neutron beam laser on armoured vehicles to devastating effect.
This multipart plastic kit builds four epic scale Solar Auxilia heavy tanks, built around the formidable Malcador chassis – two Malcador Infernus flame tanks, and two Valdor Tank Hunters. The Malcador Infernus is mounted with an inferno gun for burning infantry out of dense cover, and trailed by a separate fuel tanker, while the Valdor Tank Hunter is armed with a powerful neutron beam laser. Each of these heavy tanks can be built with or without a tank commander, and comes with a choice of paired autocannon or lascannon sponsons.

Patterns of psycho-receptive wraithbone runes are secreted about the model – Eldrad is said to have devised over a dozen distinct runes.
