CITADEL COLOUR: PAINTING HANDLE

First, there was the humble Citadel Painting Handle – this simple tool was a runaway hit, making it easy to paint your model and eat a bacon sandwich without ruining your finish. Then they got bigger, sprouted arms to aid assembly, and even turned red so you could spot special models when batch-painting. This updated Citadel Colour: Painting Handle is the biggest improvement on the revolutionary tool since its inception. Our design team has retained everything that made the original great, while evolving the design based on hard-won experience.

By removing much of the bulk in the spring-loaded upper clasp, it’s easier than ever to reach all around – and under – your models. The grip is more ergonomic, sitting comfortably in your palm for fatigue-free marathon painting sessions. The redesigned shape of the base improves the balance and distribution of weight, allowing us to make it even taller while reducing accidental knock-downs.

The painting handle holds 25mm, 28mm, 32mm and 40mm bases.

If you love using your painting handles, you’ll love these even more.

KHARADRON OVERLORDS - ARKANAUT COMPANY

When it comes to feet on the ground, the Arkanaut Companies form the Kharadron Overlords’ main fighting forces. Descending swiftly via a Frigate’s grav-ladders or suspension ropes, an Arkanaut Company can deploy rapidly into the fray. This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble a 10-model Arkanaut Company. They have a variety of weapons available: each wields a privateer pistol and Arkanaut cutters, and up to 3 models can optionally take one each of a skypike, multi-barrelled aethermatic volley gun or light skyhook. Their Captain can take either a volley pistol or aetherflare pistol, and has the option to brandish an anchor! The Company themselves are the main fighting troops of a Kharadron Overlords army, and thus haven’t yet accrued enough aether-gold to make their armour as ornate as that of their superiors. Still, they sport magnificent metal beards, and their sealed suits are replete with the valves and fittings needed to keep them alive. This kit comprises 83 components, and is supplied with 10 Citadel 25mm Round bases

HORUS HERESY: CERASTUS KNIGHT LANCER

Key Features A swift, towering Lords of War choice for Questoris Households and allied armies Can be deployed on the battlefields of the Horus Heresy and the 41st Millennium Thunder into melee and shatter mighty foes with a crackling shock lance Personalise your Knight with loads of posing options and cosmetic extras Cerastus Knights are sophisticated and towering war-suits, with speed and agility that far exceeds the lumbering Questoris-class. The Knight Lancer is the most widely-known variant of the Cerastus chassis, held in high esteem by more impetuous House scions. Its protective ion gauntlet and potent shock lance are perfectly suited to duelling titanic foes face-to-face, and such pilots often race ahead to seek glory by vanquishing the enemy's most prized war machines. This multipart plastic kit builds one Cerastus Knight Lancer, a swift and aggressive Knight armed for close combat. Even taller than its Questoris-class cousins, the Knight Lancer's long legs allow it to stride across the battlefield in moments. It deflects incoming attacks with its ion gauntlet shield as it races forward, unleashing crackling bolts from its colossal arm-mounted shock lance before charging in to impale the heaviest threats. This detailed model is highly customisable, with joints in its ankles, knees, hips, head, arms, waist, and even individual fingers, allowing you to create your own dynamic pose. Its head and arms also offer glueless assembly options to adjust their position mid-game. The kit includes a variety of cosmetic options, including two variant designs for kneepads, greaves, and pauldrons, four hull-mounted icons to represent different allegiances, an armorial shield, and three different pennants. You can also build the Knight with an open hatch, exposing the seated pilot within. This kit comprises 208 plastic components, and comes with a Citadel 170x109mm Oval Base. It also includes an Age of Darkness Cerastus Transfer Knight Sheet, containing 517 optional markings and icons for the Knight Households of the Horus Heresy. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints. Rules for using this miniature in your games of Warhammer 40,000 are available as a free download on the Warhammer Community website.
