Click And Collect

When Aotearoa moves to Level 3 on 28 April, Hobby Master will resume processing orders in either delivery or click-and-collect options. Here’s what that means for you:Two ways you can place an order with us:

  • - Via our website www.hobbymaster.co.nz where you can browse our full range and pay online via credit card or bank transfer. You can choose for your order to be delivered to your home, or you can collect the order from our retail store.

  • - Via phone (09 526 5068) where one of our friendly staff can provide recommendations. Your order can then be picked up in store and paid for by EFTPOS.

Please Note: Customers are not allowed into the store in Level 3, so browsing our stock is not possible. Please do not come to the store without having placed an order in advance using the above methods.

Ways we are keeping everyone safe:
  • - Staff have protective gloves and masks.
  • - Contactless pickup. We will have your order prepared, labeled and ready to go when you arrive.
  • - If you need to pay in-store, we have paywave and will also be disinfecting the machine between transactions in case you need to touch buttons.
  • - We will phone you when your order is ready to arrange a time for you to pick it up. This way we can ensure collection times are as staggered as possible.
  • - If there are other customers picking up orders when you arrive, we have a clearly marked waiting area where you can maintain social distancing while you wait.
  • - Staff will be noting who and when customers visit the store and taking contact details if we don’t already have them.

Click and collect:
If you wish to collect your order from the store, we have designed a series of waiting areas at the bottom and top of the stairs to ensure your 2m bubble is not compromised accessing the store.

How the waiting zones work:
We have two zones:
  1. - A waiting zone at the bottom of the stairs,
  2. - Pickup zone at the front door of the store upstairs.

When you arrive to collect your order, if the waiting zone at the bottom of the stairs is not occupied, walk up to the middle landing on the stairs and look to see if someone is waiting in the shop doorway. If they are, please return to the waiting zone downstairs until they leave, then proceed up to the store.

If the waiting zone downstairs is occupied, please wait outside until it becomes available. We have a one-in one-out policy, so when you see someone leave, it’s safe to go to the next zone.
