NECROMUNDA: CARGO-8 RIDGEHAULER

Key Features

  • Add a mobile fort to Necromunda gangs

  • Customise your land train with guns, wheels, and transport options

  • Create your own convoy to rule the wastes

The Guild of Coin rules the roads of Necromunda. They transport material between hives and, for a hefty price, they'll even smuggle weapons and people. Crossing the arid, violent, and irradiated ash wastes is a risky business, so the guild employs convoys of Cargo-8 Rideghaulers. These hulking vehicles are perfect for traversing the dunes thanks to their massive wheels and sturdy engines, hauling trailers of armoured containers and transport carriages across the Great Equatorial Wastes, but their true appeal comes from their modularity – it takes little effort to outfit one with enough guns to make it a mobile fortress, ready to repel gang ambushes and raids.

This multipart plastic kit allows you to build a Cargo-8 Ridgehauler, for use with any gang except the Ash Waste Nomads. You can construct this vehicle with six or eight wheels, and the choice of a cab-mounted grenade launcher or heavy stubber. The Ridgehauler's modular assembly options allow you to field it with a flatbed cargo bay capable of carrying gang fighters and freight goods, or with a Munitorum Armoured Container. The Container can be mounted with up to two heavy stubbers or storm bolters, and built with two gunners or closed hatches. The Cargo-8 Ridgehauler can also be fielded with an adjustable rear coupling, allowing it to tow a Ridgehauler Trailer and form your own land train.

The kit includes a variety of additional components for use with its flatbed cargo bay:
– 2x Large Crates
– 2x Small Crates
– 3x Barrels

This set comprises 203 plastic components, and is supplied with a Cargo-8 Ridgehauler Transfer Sheet featuring a variety of vehicular decals and gang logos. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints. Note that some components are intended to be assembled without glue.

Rules for using this vehicle and any attached Ridgehauler Trailers can be found in Necromunda: Book of the Outlands.

MICRO SOL

Micro Sol setting solution is for the most difficult irregular surfaces to be found on models. It completely softens the Microscale Decal, allowing it to drape down onto the surface of the model, conforming perfectly to surface irregularities without distortion. The most amazing results in seemingly impossible places are possible because Micro Sol actually makes the decal part of the painted surface. For that reason, you should coat Micro Sol on for only a few seconds and then leave it alone. It does the work. Do not touch until the decal has dried, as the decal is very soft at this stage and could be easily damaged. For the best results, first apply Micro Sol to prepare the surface and enhance the adhesive. Make sure the surface is free of particles that could get under the decal's film and cause a blemish. Then, when everything is dry enough that the decal will not move easily, apply Micro Sol with a small flat brush. Apply with as few strokes as possible so a not to disturb the decal. Then allow the decal to dry without disturbing it. One application is enough in most cases but, if necessary, a second application of Micro Sol can be helpful.

TYRANIDS: LICTOR

Key Features A terrifying ambush assassin to hunt high-value targets for your Tyranids Strike fear into foes and spring from the shadows with wicked mantis-like talons Pose your Lictor to lunge, lurk, or loom, with loads of different ways to build Lictors are a sinister adaptation of the Tyranid Warrior bioform, specialising in infiltration, scouting, and assassination. Hidden by their chameleonic skin, these vanguard beasts stalk their prey beyond the reach of the Hive Mind's synaptic web, leading the greater swarm to fresh targets with a potent pheromone trail. Lictors pick off their prey opportunistically, always looking for a chance to crack open an unwary skull and use their feeder tendrils to suck out the secrets within. This multipart plastic kit builds a Lictor, a fearsome Tyranid ambush predator. This cunning creature lunges from shadows and darts up sheer vertical surfaces to tear foes apart, striking with its distinctive mantis-like talons. The Lictor's feeder tendrils allow it to even digest a victim's memories, and the kit includes two different heads – one with trailing feeder tendrils, the other with its tendril membrane aggressively flared. This massively customisable monstrosity uses a variety of interchangeable legs, clawed arms, and scenic basing elements to create different poses for creeping across the battlefield – build your Lictor in a hunched stalk, braced to pounce, or looming ominously upright. Joints in its neck and scything talons allow you to adjust the pose even further, and extend or retract every element of its wickedly bladed arms. This kit comprises 56 plastic components, and comes with a Citadel 50mm Round Base. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly.

This multipart plastic kit builds 10 Hormagaunts, as well as a Ripper Swarm to expand your skittering tide. These aggressive creatures each feature different poses – some leaping, some stalking, and some lunging, as befits their predatory speed and role as close-quarters killers. These poses can be combined with a variety of different head designs, allowing you to keep your Hormagaunts looking varied no matter how big your swarm grows. This kit comprises 68 plastic components, and comes with 10x Citadel 28.5mm Round Bases and a Citadel 40mm Round Base. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly.

TAU EMPIRE: COMMANDER

Swift and deadly, T'au Commanders pilot battlesuits of intimidating size and power. Many, many years of tireless dedication are required to reach this prestigious rank; every T'au Commander has achieved their status the hard way. Their XV-85 Enforcer Armour Crisis Battlesuits are armed with immensely destructive weapon arrays - flamers, ion blasters and frag projectors are amongst the optional loadouts, with electronic countermeasure suites and huge data-processing capabilities enhancing their battle prowess. The on-board holophoton countermeasures and telemetry suites feed the Coldstar and its Commander pilot a massive variety of information that would overwhelm the untrained mind - instead, in this case, it allows the Coldstar Battlesuit to soar over its foes with a grace that enemy targeting systems simply cannot hope to catch. This multi-part plastic kit gives you everything you need in order to build one T'au Commander, in either an XV-85 Enforcer Armour Crisis Battlesuit or an XV86 Coldstar Battlesuit.
