Most peasants have trained with the bow from a young age, but to make their numbers count on the battlefield, these archers congregate into massed units that direct volley after volley of arrows into the enemy.
This multipart plastic kit builds 36 Peasant Bowmen, humble archers from the Kingdom of Bretonnia. Each of these conscripted soldiers is armed with a powerful longbow, and the kit comes with four sets of defensive stakes on separate bases to guard against cavalry. The kit includes two command sections – each comprising a standard bearer, a musician with a choice of instruments, and a Villein champion – allowing you to field two regiments of 18 models, or a massive block of 36 models.
