The extreme climate of Hoth makes the use of some vehicles impractical. Tauntauns became a trusted form of transportation for the Rebel Alliance on Hoth. Their speed even made them a favored option of rebel commanders Luke Skywalker and Han Solo, both of which use the domesticated beast to swiftly move through the frontline to lead their troops. This expansion brings Luke Skywalker and Han Solo, mounted on their tauntauns to the Rebel Alliance army. Luke Skywalker is a new Commander option, while Han Solo is a new Operative option for Rebel Alliance and Echo Base Defender Battle Forces.
