Snotlings have long admired the game of Blood Bowl from the sidelines, but rarely have they taken to the pitch for… obvious reasons. Well all that’s about to change, as the “Mighty” Crud Creek Nosepickers have blasted down the barriers to bravely (or foolishly) pave the way for their diminutive kin. XV104 Riptide is the pinnacle of the Earth caste’s battlesuit development. It stands twice as tall as the XV8 Crisis suit, but its movements are more like those of its smaller cousins than the mechanical stiffness displayed by Imperial walkers with their crude servo-motors. The XV104 Riptide takes the evolution of the Tau battlesuit to a whole new level. First and foremost the model is huge, towering over the rest of the Tau – even other battlesuits and tanks. Sanctuses are the favoured blades of their Patriarch, assassins whose task it is to eliminate any who oppose the cultists’ ascension to glory.
