Hobbymaster Leagues And Prizing
HobbyMaster Event Centre is proud to bring you the widest range of events, catering to all player levels, and levels of competition. In line with this we bring you a number of events throughout the week with varying formats and/or event structures.
If you’re interested in playing in a competitive gaming League, our Penrose Event Centre is your destination– kicking off at 6:30pm each night is one of our awesome gaming Leagues! With MTG Modern on Tuesday, Flesh and Blood Constructed and MTG Pioneer on Thursdays (with more leagues coming!). $15 entry, with a top-heavy prize split for high finishers each night. Each player will receive at least one ticket, but the prize structure on any given night will scale with the number of players entered into the event, as described below:

For all events with greater than 8 players, 4 x 40-minute rounds will be played to determine overall standings. These standings will contribute to the end of league standings, so on top of receiving prizes for finishing at or near undefeated, you will become eligible for end of league rewards based on how you do over the course of the current league.
For each player, half a Hobbymaster Prize Ticket is added to our end-of-league Prize Pot, which is divided amongst those at the Top8 of the League standings at the end of the League. The prize breakdown goes as such:
- 30% of the Pot
- 20% of the Pot
- 15% of the Pot
- 15% of the Pot
- 5% of the Pot
- 5% of the Pot
- 5% of the Pot
- 5% of the Pot
