Blood Sisters and Blood Stalkers, mutated serpentine warriors capable of taking on the toughest of enemies, form the core of the force. Rounding out the army are Khinerai Heartrenders or Khinerai Lifetakers, winged warriors who strike fast before darting out of danger. This boxed set builds 17 multipart plastic Daughters of Khaine miniatures:– 1 Morathi-Khaine– 1 The Shadow Queen– 5 Khinerai Heartrenders (which can alternatively be built as Khinerai Lifetakers)– 10 Blood Sisters (which can alternatively be built as Blood Stalkers)
The miniatures in this box are easy to customise. The Shadow Queen can be assembled holding a heart or with an empty hand.
One of the Khinerai Heartrenders can be built as an optional champion with a unique helmet. The unit can also be assembled as Khinerai Lifetakers, fast-moving melee specialists armed with vicious barbed sickles.
The Blood Sisters and Blood Stalkers share the same frames, so you can build one unit of each, or all as the same type. Each unit can build an optional champion, and the Blood Stalkers also have interchangeable masks, quivers, and cosmetic accessories.

DAUGHTERS OF KHAINE: KHINERAI HEARTRENDERS / LIFETAKERS
This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble 5 Khinerai Lifetakers or 5 Khinerai Heartrenders. Lifetakers wear open-face helmets, making the twisted sneers of their bloodlust plainly visible as they soar through the skies on enormous, spiked wings. Their armour is minimal, designed more to be streamlined for aerial maneuvers than actual protection – thick plate would drag them down, providing a disadvantage to these high-speed killers. Each Lifetaker carries a horrific barbed sickle in one hand, with a heartpiercer shield in the other; these shields are aptly named, featuring large, sharp spikes. You can build a Harridynn, which is the unit leader – she is denoted by her unique hairpiece and loincloth. Each model is attached to its base via a sculpted ruin to which their base connects, providing the dynamic, aerial look they require.
Distinguishable from their Lifetaker sisters by their sinister, full-face horned helmets, Heartrenders soar through the skies on enormous, spiked wings. DAUGHTERS OF KHAINE: MORATHI
This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble Morathi. She comes as 2 different miniatures, both of which are included: the High Oracle of Khaine, her aelven form, and The Shadow Queen, her true, monstrous form. The High Oracle of Khaine is an icily beautiful figure, wearing ornate leather and metal armour. In a gloved hand she holds her magical spear, Heartrender, pointing it toward an unseen enemy. Behind a large, metal headdress, her long, serpentine hair cascades down her back – upon closer inspection, this is laced with wicked barbs and blades. Her wings fan out from her back, dripping with blood from every point.
The Shadow Queen is another prospect entirely – standing almost 3 times taller and posed in a far more aggressive manner, this miniature will make a splendid centrepiece for any Daughters of Khaine collector. In this form, her furious serpentine aspect dominates, with the lower half of her body given over to a long, sinister snake-form which coils and twists around a massive stone column. Her top half wears the same armour, with the same headdress and Heartrender – but her hair has been replaced by snakes, and the wings have become expansive and scaly, with huge chitinous points ready to impale the unwary. The base features an unfortunate aelf, turned to stone and broken in half by Morathi’s gaze.
Morathi comes as 59 components, and is supplied with a Citadel 100mm Round base and a Citadel 40mm Round base.

This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble a set of 10 Witch Aelves. They wear lightweight, minimal armour in order to move and flow more freely in their devotional bloodlust – what armour is there is beautifully ornate, finished by high leather boots. Each Witch Aelf carries a pair of wickedly sharp sacrificial knives, and they’re all posed in an appropriate pirouetting stance. There are 12 heads in the kit – 6 pairs of individual designs – each of which comes with an additional headdress. The leader of the unit, the Hag, can be identified by the extra-spiky headdress she wears. There are 2 banners with 3 different banner tops for standard bearers and a horn to denote the unit’s hornblower.
Alternately, this multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble a set of 10 Sisters of Slaughter. Above the this they feature metal waist pieces with attached sashes, and armoured breastplates. The Blood Sisters feature intimidating full-face masks, each with expressions of fury and snakes framing their wild, swept-back hair. You have the option to build 1 model as a Gorgai, the unit leader: she can be distinguished by her uniquely jeweled mask, specific heartshard glaive and her grisly trophy – the heart of an unfortunate victim, clutched proudly in her left hand.
