Horus Heresy: The Reckoning of Jakos: Part 1 - The Cull

The Jakos System was liberated from the tyranny of a nightmarish xenos species in 980 M.30 by Horus Lupercal and the Luna Wolves. The human population were completely devoted to their saviours to the extent that they renamed their administrative capital to Lupercus and their burgeoning Imperial Army regiments swore blood oaths to the Warmaster and his sons.
As such, it came as a complete surprise to all when the Jakos System declared for the Emperor at the outbreak of the Horus Heresy and called on nearby Loyalist Astartes Legions to garrison in their territory. Enraged, the Warmaster dispatched a wave of Traitor forces with specific instructions to make a bloody example of Jakos, so that all would know the folly of turning on their oaths to Horus Lupercal.

This event is a fun, friendly and hobby orientated event for players new and old to Horus Heresy. It is part of a narrative event series that will take place over the course of the year. The events that take place at this event will impact upon the narrative and mechanics of future events.
