PRINCESS JING

Help Princess Jing escape from the forbidden city.

A palace can quickly become a maze for an escaping princess, where each mirror can either reveal a way out, or conceal a trap! It is up to her to use them at her advantage, before her guardians turn them into spying devices! Roberto Fraga created this new game, where each player moves their princess across the board, hiding her progression, while placing allies and mirrors to uncover your opponent’s princess. Escaping the palace and running off with your sweetheart will require both wits and stealth!

BENEATH NEXUS

Centuries ago, the city of Nexus was built around a well of magical power hidden deep below the earth. Over the ages, Nexus soared to incredible wealth and power. Wandering tribes flocked to the city to worship and learn from the mysterious magicks beneath it. As Nexus grew, more and more power was drawn from the well. And as more power was drawn, the more unstable the energies of the well became. After millennia of providing Nexus with knowledge and might, the well gave the city something new. Blight. Beneath Nexus is an asymmetrical dungeon crawling card game for 3 to 6 players. One player acts as the Blight Lord, an evil overlord who corrupted the great city of Nexus centuries ago. All other players play the heroes who have come to Nexus to reclaim it from the powerful Blight Lord. Beneath Nexus's fantasy theme was inspired by the big tabletop rpgs like D&D, Pathfinder, and Dungeonworld. Players of Magic: the Gathering, Sentinels of the Multiverse, and Lunch Money will recognize the card-based mechanics and gameplay. We at Silverclutch Games created Beneath Nexus for hobbyist gamers to introduce casual gamers and new players to fantasy adventure. Beneath Nexus can be learned within 10 minutes and is both competitive and cooperative with its one vs many format. Hobbyist gamers will find the unique heroes and Blight Lords engaging and challenging to master due to variable player powers, difficult dungeon cards, and the vast array of monsters to combat with their own unique abilities.

NATIONS

From the humble beginnings of civilization through the historical ages of progress, mankind has lived, fought, and built together in nations. Great nations protect and provide for their own, while fighting and competing against both other nations and nature itself. Nations must provide food and stability as the population increases. They must build a productive economy. And all the while, they must amaze the world with their great achievements to build up their heritage as the greatest nations in the history of mankind!   Nations is an intense historical board game for 1–5 players that takes 40 minutes per player to play. Players control the fate of nations from their humble start in prehistoric times until the beginning of World War I. The nations constantly compete against each other and must balance immediate needs, long-term growth, threats, and opportunities.   Gameplay introduction   Players choose a Nation and a difficulty to play at, similar to the Civilization computer games series. After the growth phase, 2 historical events are revealed, which the players will compete for during the round. Then players take a single small action each, in player order, as many times as they wish until all have passed. Actions are:   Buy a card Deploy a worker Hire an architect for a wonder Special action provided by a card Players each have individual boards that represent their Nation. There are many ways that players affect, compete, and indirectly interact with other players. But there is no map, no units to move around, and no direct attacks on other players.   When all have passed, there is production, new player order is determined (every position is competed for), the historical events happen, and if this is the last round of an age, the books are scored. At the start of a new round, most old cards are removed and new ones are put on the display.   Victory points are gained and lost during the game, and also awarded at the end of the game. The player with the most victory points is the winner.   See 'More information' below for link to rules, etc.   AWARDS & HONORS 2014 JUG Game of the Year Winner 2014 Jogo do Ano Winner 2014 Jogo do Ano Nominee 2014 International Gamers Award - General Strategy: Multi-player Nominee 2013 Meeples' Choice Nominee

FLUXX: FANTASY

Fluxx is a card game in which the cards themselves determine the current rules of the game. By playing cards, you change numerous aspects of the game: how to draw cards, how to play cards, and even how to win. At the start of the game, each player holds three cards and on a turn a player draws one card, then plays one card. By playing cards, you can put new rules into play that change numerous aspects of the game: how many cards to draw or play, how many cards you can hold in hand or keep on the table in front of you, and (most importantly) how to win the game. In Fantasy Fluxx, you want to gather your friends for a party — an adventuring party, that is! Pack up your Second Breakfasts, and set off on a classic quest with your faithful companions: the Helpful Elf, the Dwarven Warrior, the Gallant Swordsman, the Wise Old Wizard, and of course, the Humble Young Hero! Learn from the Cranky Magic Teacher how to use your Wand to cast spells like Invisibility or Fireball! You may need them as you encounter the Dreaded Pirate, or when you find out that Captured Princess is actually the Mother of Dragons! Will you and your fantasy favorites survive the Final Showdown with the Dark Lord?

TRANSATLANTIC

From the opening of the Suez Canal in 1869 to the beginning of WWI in 1914, there was an amazing development of bigger, faster, and more modern steamships. Whereas in 1870 there are still many clippers around and the good old paddle steamer "Scotia" sails the North Atlantic, sea trade is dominated by the end of this era by huge vessels like "Mauretania"(Cunard), "Olympic"(White Star), or "Imperator"(Hapag). In Transatlantic, 2 to 4 players lead their own shipping companies, which transport freight, mail, and passengers around the globe. They purchase new steamships from the market, each of them historical with their individual technical data (tons, knots etc.). Competition is tough, especially in the North Atlantic where winning the "Blue Riband" is not only a matter of prestige, but may also be a profitable investment. In order to let a shipping company flourish, purchasing the best steamships is not enough, if one fails to acquire enough coal bunkers and trade posts as well.
