CHAOS DAEMON PRINCE – 40K AND AGE OF SIGMAR

Key Features

  • Fearsome shock troops for your Slaves to Darkness armies

  • Builds 3 mighty Theridons with a variety of weapons and command options

  • Customise your brutes using a mix of heads, horns, armour, and Chaotic sigils

Ogroid Theridons serve as fearsome shock troops to the armies of Chaos, found wherever the fighting is thickest, carving swathes of ruin through the enemy ranks with staggering strength and skill. Once rulers of a mighty empire that stretched across the Realm of Beasts, the goroans were enticed into Archaon's service by promises of a new homeland, free from orruk invasions – a realm that came to be called the Eightpoints. Now better-known as ogroids, they raise dark citadels, forge mighty weapons, and serve as overseers in the shadow of the Varanspire.

This multipart plastic kit builds three Ogroid Theridons – ferocious warriors who loom above most mortal soldiery. Each Theridon can be armed with your choice of brutal weaponry – either a two-handed goroan great axe, or a goroan falchion and shield. The kit also includes components to build one model as a Thorakon champion with a unique shield boss, and to assemble the other two models as a proud Banner Bearer and a horn-blowing Charge-caller musician.

You’ll find plenty of cosmetic options to mix up your Ogroid Theridons – the kit's shields, pauldrons, and axe heads are entirely interchangeable, as are the five different faces and five sets of horns. There are also five Chaotic sigils – for Khorne, Tzeentch, Nurgle, Slaanesh, and Chaos Undivided – to adorn the Thorakon's armour, and another five you can choose from to cap the Banner Bearer's standard.

This kit comprises 96 plastic components, and is supplied with 3x Citadel 50mm Round Bases. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.

The more fights an orruk wins, the bigger they get; Megabosses are understandably massive, and more than happy to use their immense, muscular bulk to kick in the heads of anything and everything in their path. Covered in scraps of iron taken from bested foes, festooned with trophies of war and armed with some utterly brutal weaponry, orruk Megabosses are absolutely terrifying to even behold, let alone actually take on in battle. Fourteen components are included, along with a Citadel 60mm Round base.

GODEATER'S SON (PB)

A Warhammer Age of Sigmar Novel Heldanarr Fall just wants to be left in peace in Aqshy, but the gleaming golden warriors of Sigmar won’t let him be. So he fights back – and draws upon a more primal power. READ IT BECAUSE It's a Mortal Realms story with a twist – a virtuous man succumbs to the path of darkness, and wages a war against Sigmar himself. THE STORY Heldanarr Fall dreams of a world without gods. When the Azyrites descended upon the Burning Valley – a kingdom carved from the Aqshian desert – they brought arrogance and cruelty with their riches, and a god who seemed blind to it all. Despite harrowing losses, Held clung to his people’s ways, forging a new existence without a single prayer to the armoured deity, Sigmar. Now, all Held wants is solitude. But after saving a Sigmarite priestess from violent death, her troubles catch up to them and destroy the last of his peace. First broken, then enraged, he launches a brutal war of vengeance against Sigmar’s worshippers and soon finds himself thrust against the Stormcast Eternals, led by the cunning strategist Ildrid Stormsworn. Alone, he cannot hope to win, yet surrender would mean accepting the mercy of a god he despises. To defeat the Stormcasts and avenge his fate, Held must embrace older, darker powers that risk the very freedom for which he fights. But when Sigmar's rulers are tyrants and the Champions of Chaos prove worthy, which path is the most righteous? And once he makes his choice, who will Heldanarr Fall become? Written by Noah Van Nguyen.

SPACE MARINE: PRIMARIS HELLBLASTERS

Imperial observers have likened the fire of a Hellblaster Squad to the incinerating power of a stellar flare. Bolt after bolt of plasma sears across the battlefield; those caught in the Hellblasters’ sights are swiftly annihilated, their armour blasted to ash and their flesh and bone to glowing motes. Even armoured fighting vehicles are swiftly reduced to heaps of metallic slag. Deployed at the correct point and time, a single Hellblaster Squad can blunt the thundering assault of an armoured spearhead, or lay low even the most titanic alien fiend.   This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble a set of 10 Primaris Hellblasters. Clad in Mk X Tacticus power armour, they eschew the complex variations of wargear many of their battle-brothers carry, preferring instead to focus on and specialise in a single-armament specialism – plasma.   The models can be assembled as either a 10-man squad, a squad of 9 Hellblasters with a Sergeant or 2 separate 5-man squads, each with a Sergeant of their own. The whole squad can be armed with a host of plasma weaponry – there are 10 plasma incinerators included, with the components required to turn any of them into an assault plasma incinerator or heavy plasma incinerator, depending on your preference. The assault and heavy variants feature alternate muzzles, ammunition flasks and different cabling attaching the weapon to the Hellblasters’ backpack. There are 4 incinerators which are being carried rather than aimed; you have the option to arm 4 Hellblasters with plasma pistols in the other hand.   A problem (some call it a bonus…) of plasma weaponry is its tendency to overheat; there are several optional components reflecting this. Bare head options featuring nasty burns are included for the Sergeant, and there are bionic arms included, heavily implying lost limbs in plasma accidents. There are also plenty of pistol holsters, reliquaries, grenade sets and purity seals included.   The Primaris Hellblasters come as 250 components, and are supplied with 10 Citadel 32mm Round bases and a transfer sheet.
