SLAVES TO DARKNESS: REGIMENTS OF RENOWN: HARGAX'S PIT-BEASTS

Key Features

  • A full Regiment of Renown to ally with certain Grand Alliance Chaos armies

  • An ideal way to add models to your Slaves to Darkness collection and save money when compared with buying them separately

  • Contains three plastic Citadel miniatures - including a mighty Ogroid Myrmidon

Regiments of Renown are storied mercenaries who wander the Mortal Realms, offering their services to whichever armies will help them achieve their own ambitions. Led by warriors famous and infamous alike, these dogs of war recruit like-minded soldiers to join them in their quests to fill their coffers and grow their reputation.

One such leader is the Ogroid Myrmidon, Hargax. He once ruled the gladiatorial Pit of Shattered Spines with a fist of iron, before being overthrown by a younger rival. Now the exiled ogroid roams the realms, searching for powerful beasts to break into submission and aid him in reclaiming his throne.

This set contains all the miniatures needed to build Hargax's Pit-beasts – a whole Regiment of Renown for use in games of Warhammer Age of Sigmar. This monstrous menagerie is led by the Ogroid Myrmidon Hargax, who exhibits an incredible mastery over his tamed beasts. He's accompanied by a brutal Fomoroid Crusher armed with chunks of fallen masonry, and a hypnotic, cat-like monstrosity known as a Mindstealer Sphiranx.

This set contains:
- 1x Ogroid Myrmidon
- 1x Fomoroid Crusher
- 1x Mindstealer Sphiranx

The miniatures in this set are supplied with the appropriate bases and come unassembled and unpainted – we recommended using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.

If your army has a Chaos general, but is not a Slaves to Darkness army, you can include this Regiment of Renown – even if its points value exceeds the amount allowed for allied units. Alternatively, the models in this kit can also fulfil their standard battlefield roles in a Slaves to Darkness army, but will not benefit from the Regiment of Renown rules.

Regiments of Renown-specific rules can be found in White Dwarf 486 (March 2023). Full digital rules, as well as tips on how to field this unit in games of Warhammer Age of Sigmar, are also available to download from the Warhammer Community website.

TYRANIDS: NEUROLICTOR

Key Features A stealthy terror weapon to sabotage foes for your Tyranid army Projects a neural disruption field that leaves enemies open to attack A spindly offshoot of the Lictor, capable of hiding in plain sight Neurolictors are nightmarish living weapons of psychological warfare, engineered to implant mind-altering parasites and project a neural disruption field that provokes atavistic terror responses in even the most hardened prey. As an offshoot of the Lictor bioform, Neurolictors possess a nigh-supernatural ability to evade notice – which renders their sabotage all the more terrifying, as these insidious effects often seem to emerge from out of thin air. This multipart plastic kit builds a Neurolictor, a stealthy Tyranid terror weapon. This eerie, eyeless creature's sinister silhouette and mantis-like claws make its Lictor heritage clear, but the Neurolictor sports a massively overdeveloped alien brain, a prehensile cranial stinger, and barbed feeder tendrils – all vital adaptations for its vile role as a mind-destroying saboteur. This kit comprises 15 plastic components and comes with a Citadel 50mm Round Base. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly.

NECROMUNDA: GOLIATH STIMMERS & FORGE-BORN

Key Features Grow your Goliath Gang Add chemically enhanced Stimmers… …and eager, hot-headed Forge-born In House Goliath, Stimmers are established gangers. While seeking to achieve the peak of the Goliath's aspirational physical and musculature performance, they have become addicted to growth and combat stimms. Meanwhile, Forge-born, are gang prospects. They have not yet proven themselves to the Goliath, so they are not yet fully inducted into the Goliath Gang culture. As such, they often undertake the more dangerous tasks for the gang in an effort to prove themselves. Expand your Goliath Gang with these six additional fighters. As with all members of the House of Chains, they excel in fighting up close and personal. Stimmers are those gang members who have eschewed the path of leadership and instead focus on the mastery of brutal violence, while Forge-born are the hot headed youths who will be the future of the gang. This kit is supplied as 112 components that make 2 Goliath Stimmers, one armed with paired pulverizers and one armed with assault grenade launchers, and 4 Goliath Forge-born, two armed with storm-welders and two armed with heavy rock saws. It comes supplied with 2 Necromunda 40mm bases and 4 Necromunda 25mm bases. MICRO SET

Micro Set is a very versatile decal setting solution that does several things to Microscale Decals to improve application. Micro Set should be applied to the surface of the model where you will be sliding the decal off the paper backing. Micro Set prepares the surface with special wetting agents that cut the oils in new paint and converts the adhesive on the back of the decal to a stronger and longer lasting one. In addition, Micro Set slightly softens the decal film to make it more flexible so that it will conform better to the model's surface. Better adhesion of the decal to the model prevents tiny air bubbles from forming and results in an invisible carrier film for the so-called "painted on look." To apply Micro Set: Use a soft flat artist's brush and apply Micro Set where you are going to apply the decal. Then slide the decal off the backing paper using a small pointed tip synthetic bristle brush to carefully position the decal in its proper position. Blot the decal carefully with a tissue or paper toweling, being careful not to disturb its position. Allow the decal to dry overnight. It will then be ready for a protective coat of Micro Coat Flat, Satin or Gloss.

You'll also find loads of cosmetic build options for both Jakhals and Dishonoured, including a variety of interchangeable heads, weapons, and arms to mix things up across your whole army.
